An evening out celebrating and dancing. So much FUN! Had a great time. But an old knee injury and my surgically repaired foot decided to let me know the next day ……actually, the whole week that I have a bit of history with this body.

Let me tell you. I am diligent about healthy body, mind and soul…But we just have to accept our limitations.

Or do we??

I am the “Workaround ” queen and while I pushed limits at this really fun event with dancing too much (it was so worth it) I realized that I can create the result I want. Just maybe not the way that I used to AND I have to accept what is.

That is not to say I give in or give up….I find a “Workaround” solution. Accepting the current status quo and then find a way to get to the goal that maybe wasn’t considered.

For instance, while dancing, don’t jump off of things (Kidding!! - didn’t do that) but look for the compromise that gets results.

The road less traveled - so to say and thinking about NOT accepting the status quo as the only option.

Honestly, in my career and as an entrepreneur- I have had to become really good at this…On my feet and on a moments notice - good at this.

As entrepreneurs, we have to be willing to look for that “3rd Door” and in that, we find answers and solutions that in turn get us to the end result, help others and create a path that was previously unrecognized.

Just because it hasn’t been done before doesn’t mean it can’t be done now.

Find your Workaround....Your door. I am always searching them out. And hopefully, this week I will find one….close by, at ground level so I don’t have to climb stairs or walk far….ouch. :)
