At times it's so subtle...We don't even realize we are settling. Why is that? Is it because we have become complacent with checking in with ourselves? Accepting less than satisfactory outcomes? Why are you always the one to settle?

What may have been (at one time) for the greater good - Is that becoming something of a habit? Then we ask.

Or we don't want to "rock the boat" and then get upset when no one is taking your well-being into consideration.
